Early in my career, I worked with countless dog parents who were close to despair at their dog's recall issues.

They’d tried everything - hours of practice at home, endless "tips" from social media, and sometimes even punishment-based methods that only damaged the relationship they had with their dog.

To make the situation worse, each ignored recall cue was actually teaching their dog that they didn't need to come back.
